Less than 200 metres away from our Ranch is the entrance to the 'Natuurpoort de Heksenboom', which is part of the Brabant Nature park. The starting point for a beautiful walking, cycling and mountain bike tour. There are still some areas of sand drift in the Ullingse Bergen heathland area. There are a number of paved and unpaved (shell paths) but easily accessible cycle routes throughout the area. Staatsbosbeheer has set out various routes for walkers. From our Ranch you can walk, cycle or ride a horse into the forests of Sint Anthonis - a beautiful nature reserve with forest, heathland and sand drifts. Originally this was a production forest with mainly Scots pine, but through smart management and planting of deciduous trees it has grown into a varied landscape with various cycling, walking and mountain bike routes. Staatsbosbeheer has set out 4 walking routes, each in a short and long version. All routes are connected, so you can choose a distance of 2 to 26 kilometers. And this directly from our Ranch!

Along the way you will come across open heathlands where Scottish highlanders and sheep graze. Every year there are events at the nearby Schaapskooi, such as Lamb Day (Easter Sunday) and the Sheep Shearing Festival (2nd Sunday in June) - a must during your stay!

Start planning the route at junction number 26. This is the starting point from our Ranch. With an app such as the free app GPX viewer 2 or with the route planner Komoot you can download the ride so that you can see where you are on the map. Make sure you share your location with this app so that you can see exactly where you are on the map. Below we have already set out 2 different routes for you.

In the municipality of Land van Cuijk there is something for everyone. For lovers of Dutch history and religious heritage. For lovers of water recreation to amusement park. All these beautiful sights and activities are combined on the tourist website of Land van Cuijk.

Our Ranch is located a stone's throw from the village center of Sint Anthonis. Sint Anthonis is a beautiful and cozy village with a large Brink as its center, where many events are held every year.

You can also have a nice bite to eat there, for example at Eetcafé De 3 Burgemeesters (1.6 km), where they use a fifty-fifty concept. In addition, 100 meters from our Ranch is Restaurant De Heksenboom (300 m), where you can also enjoy a terrace when the weather is nice. Other restaurants nearby: Restaurant Raadhuis Wanroij (6.2 km), Grand Café de Douairiére (7.7 km), Brasserie De Bock (8.1 km). Tip: make a reservation in advance. Prefer to pick up? Local options are: Pizzeria Dinaro, Eetwinkel van Kol or Friettent D'n Hapin.

Via this link you will find the cycling routes through Sint Anthonis, of which 9 long, 14 short walking routes and 4 cycling routes have been set out. Just a 13-minute drive away is the De Bergen Adventure Park in Wanroij (8 km) with an indoor and outdoor play park for young and old. There you can also visit the beach pool, play adventure golf or go paintballing. If you drive a bit further, you will find the BillyBird park Hemelrijk recreation park in Volkel (25 km) or Toverland theme park (33 km) in Sevenum and the Efteling (60 km) in Kaatsheuvel. Or visit the Zoo Parc Overloon zoo (10 km). Would you like to learn more about the history of the Second World War?
