What if I have a question during my stay?

During your stay, you are of course always welcome to send us a message with your question. In addition, you can consult our website at any time, where you will often find a quick answer on the Frequently Asked Questions page.

Please note that we are limited in availability during the evenings and on weekends. During these periods, there is no permanent staff present at the office, as we do not operate regular office hours then.

Questions received in the evening or over the weekend will be answered as soon as possible on the next working day. We do our best to help everyone in a careful and personal manner, and we thank you in advance for your understanding.

In case of a urgent emergency that cannot wait, you will find information in your accommodation explaining what to do.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: no later than 11:00 AM

You can check in contact-free after 3:00 PM, at a time that suits you best. You will receive all necessary information and clear instructions from us to check in independently.

Would you prefer a personal welcome? Please let us know — we’d be happy to greet you! Personal check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. In that case, please also inform us of your expected arrival time.

Arriving after 5:00 PM? No problem. From that moment on, check-in is completly contact-free and you can access your accommodation independently. Please note that after this time, no staff will be available to assist with check-in. Any messages or questions will be handled on the next working day.

On weekdays after 5:00 PM and during weekends, we are only reachable by phone for urgent or emergency situations. If you have a question, please send us a WhatsApp message and we will try to respond as quickly as possible.

No worries: all the information you need for a smooth check-in will be sent to you in advance!

Is it possible to check in earlier or check out later?

Would you like a little extra time to enjoy your stay? That’s possible!
An early check-in or late check-out costs €15 per additional hour (subject to availability).

And on Sundays, we’re happy to add an extra touch of relaxation:
a late check-out until 4:00 PM for €45.

That way, you can end your weekend calmly — without stress or rushing!

Is there free WiFi available on the property?

Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the entire property, so you can easily stay online during your stay.

Is parking free, and am I allowed to arrive with multiple cars?

Parking is free. One car is included as standard with your booking.

  • Glamping guests: please follow the signs “Glamping Parking” and park your car in the designated parking area.
  • Cabin guests: may park one car next to the cabin — very convenient for loading and unloading.

Please note: between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM it is not allowed to drive to the cabins by car, in order to maintain peace and quiet on the property. Arriving later or leaving early? Please park at the general parking area near the riding school.

Convenient trolleys are available at the parking area to easily transport your luggage to your accommodation.

🚫 Parking on the roads is not allowed. In case of emergencies, we need to be able to access all areas quickly — so please keep the roads clear.

🚗 And don’t forget: maximum speed on the property is 10 km/h. We’d like to avoid swirling dust, startled horses, or stray slippers ending up on your hood.

Arriving with more than one car? No problem, but additional vehicles must be parked at the central parking area near the main entrance. This helps keep the park calm and safe for everyone.

How does contactless check-in work?

After your booking, you will receive clear instructions and a unique code. Upon arrival after 3:00 PM, you can enter your accommodation directly and start enjoying your stay. Do you have any questions? Our team is available by phone on weekdays, and otherwise we are always reachable via WhatsApp.

 

Are bed linen and towels included?
  • Bed linen is included with every stay. The beds are already made for you upon arrival.
  • Towels are not included as standard, unless you booked via Airbnb, Booking.com, Natuurhuisje.nl, or Vipio.com.

Did you book directly through our website? In that case, you can easily add towels to your booking, or of course bring your own — whatever you prefer.

Is smoking allowed on the property or in the accommodations?

Smoking is not allowed in the accommodations and indoor areas. Smoking is permitted outdoors in designated areas on the property, provided it is done with respect for other guests and nature.

How do I make a reservation?

Making a reservation is very easy!
You can book your overnight stay or activity directly through our website — this way you always have the most up-to-date availability and the best price.

Choose your desired accommodation or activity, select the date, and follow the steps to complete a secure online payment. You will then receive a confirmation email right away with all the details.

Can I still change my booking after making a reservation?

In many cases, this is possible! In the booking confirmation you received by email, you will find a link to your personal guest page where you can already make certain changes yourself. You can also cancel your reservation directly via your booking confirmation.

Alternatively, feel free to contact us as soon as you know what you would like to change, and we will be happy to see what is possible with you.

Please note that changes are subject to availability and our cancellation conditions. In some cases, additional costs may apply.

What are the cancellation conditions for booking a stay?

We understand that plans can sometimes change:

  • If you cancel up to 14 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of the amount paid, minus a €35 administration fee.
  • If you cancel within 7 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged.

Have you booked via Airbnb, Booking.com, Natuurhuisje.nl, or Vipio.com?
In that case, the cancellation conditions of the respective platform apply.

Do I need to pay in advance or can I pay on site?

Payment is made during the booking process via a secure online payment environment. This way, everything is taken care of in advance, and you can relax and enjoy your stay upon arrival without having to worry about payments on site.

What happens if the weather is bad during my stay or activity?

Unfortunately, we can’t control the weather, but we will of course do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible!

For stays, everything goes ahead as planned, regardless of the weather. Our accommodations are well insulated and comfortably furnished, so you can relax and enjoy your stay even when it’s raining.

For outdoor activities, such as horseback riding or workshops, we always take the safety and comfort of both people and animals into account. If the weather is too bad to continue safely, we will reschedule the activity to another time.

Parking & accessibility

Is parking free, and can I come with multiple cars?

Parking is free. One car is included as standard with your booking.

Guests of the Cabins: may park one car next to the cabin — very convenient for loading and unloading. Please note: between 21:00 and 08:00 it is not allowed to drive to the Cabins by car, to maintain peace and quiet on the grounds. Arriving later or leaving early? Where can I park if I am staying overnight?

For the Glamping accommodations, you may drive to the rear of the property and park your vehicle (free of charge) in front of or behind the Magnolia tree. It is not possible to drive directly to the accommodations.

For the Cabins, you may also drive to the rear of the property. Follow the signs to the right marked “Lodges & Cabins” to reach your accommodation. You may park a maximum of one car at the Cabin. Arriving with an additional car? Please park it at the riding arena parking area.

A trolley is available for you to use to bring your luggage to your accommodation.

Can I park at the Cabins?

If you are staying in one of our glamping accommodations, please park your car in front of the hay barn or at the riding arena parking area.

What is the maximum speed on the grounds?

The maximum speed on the grounds is 10 km per hour.

Are you easily accessible by public transport?

We are accessible by train and bus, depending on where you are traveling from. You can plan your entire journey via 9292ov.nl.

In addition, there is the BravoFlex public transport service, which has a bus stop just 290 meters from our location (opposite restaurant De Heksenboom). By calling BravoFlex (+31 88 076 0000), they can drop you off there and pick you up from the same location.

Cooking, dining & barbecuing

Can we barbecue at the accommodation?

Glamping accommodations
At our glamping accommodations, barbecuing on charcoal or briquettes is not allowed.
Barbecuing on gas is allowed. You can rent a (gas) barbecue from us for each accommodation, so you can enjoy a carefree barbecue experience.

Cabins
At the cabins, a Kamado BBQ is available. This can be rented additionally and does not include charcoal. If you book via our website, you can easily reserve the Kamado BBQ as an extra with your stay.

Are there shops or places to eat nearby?

In the nearby village of Sint Anthonis, you will find a supermarket (Albert Heijn) and several places to eat.
Restaurant De Heksenboom is within walking distance (290 meters) from Magnolia Hoeve.

Can we add a breakfast basket or meals to our stay?

Unfortunately, we do not (yet) offer a breakfast basket or meals at Magnolia Hoeve.
However, it is possible to have food delivered by external services such as thuisbezorgd.nl or thuisontbijtbestellen.nl.

Animals & pets

Are dogs allowed on the property or in the accommodations?

Dogs are not allowed in the accommodations or in the stables with the horses.
Dogs are welcome on the property and next to the indoor arena, provided they are kept on a leash.
Dogs are only allowed inside the indoor arena during special events.

Does my dog need to be on a leash?

Yes. To ensure the safety and well-being of our horses and other guests, your dog must be kept on a leash at all times on the grounds of Magnolia Hoeve.

Are there other animals on the property?

Yes, there are horses present on the grounds of Magnolia Hoeve.

Horses & activities

Do you also offer horse riding lessons or workshops?

Yes, we do. We offer a variety of options, including private and/or group lessons, a walking outdoor ride, an outdoor ride of 1.5 hours or 2.5 hours, and Yoga on and next to the horse.

How do I book an activity or horseback riding lesson?

You can book an activity or horseback riding lesson via our website, where you can also view availability, information, and prices. Go to our Activities page and click on the activity you would like to book. At the bottom of the page, you can book your activity via our booking system.

Please note: we are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and on Tuesday and Thursday from 08:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Do I need experience to take part in an activity with horses?

Not all activities require experience:

  • You can book a private lesson without prior experience. Please mention this in the comments when booking via our website or inform the instructor.
  • No riding experience is required for Yoga on and next to the horse.
  • Our walking outdoor rides (minimum of 2 people) can also be booked, where one of the two participants must have riding experience and the other does not.

Group lessons and forest rides of 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours do require riding experience.

Are the horses at Magnolia Hoeve suitable for children?

Although we have very gentle and kind horses, we do not offer horseback riding activities for young children. This is because we do not have ponies available.

From what age can I participate in a group lesson, private lesson, and/or a walking outdoor ride?

Participation is possible from the age of 12.

From what age can I participate in an outdoor ride?

Participation is possible from the age of 14.

Can I bring my own horse?

Yes, you can bring your horse to stay at Magnolia Hoeve. Subject to availability, we have a stable available for rent for your horse.
Please note: your horse cannot make use of pasture grazing, as we currently do not offer pasture rental.

May I feed the horses?

No. The horses receive special, carefully balanced feed that is important for their health. If they are given other food, they may become ill.
You are welcome to greet or pet the horses (if they enjoy it), but feeding them is not allowed.

Wellness & extras

How can I book the sauna or hot tub?

At our location, the sauna and hot tub cannot be booked separately, but only as a private wellness arrangement. This means you rent a fully private space where you can relax together with your group; no one else will have access during your selected time slot.

When making a reservation, you choose a time slot for the private hot tub & sauna, which is exclusively for you and your group.

What is included when booking the spa & wellness area?

When booking our spa & wellness area, you have exclusive use of a fully private wellness space, reserved only for you and your group.

The wellness arrangement includes:

  • use of the private wood-fired hot tub and sauna
  • firewood and lighting materials
  • towels
  • chairs and loungers
  • access to sanitary facilities
  • storage space for your belongings
  • a relaxing wellness experience where you can unwind in complete privacy

You can choose to heat the hot tub yourself for an extra experience, or, for an additional fee, make use of the heating service so it will already be warming up upon your arrival.

Can I go horseback riding during my stay?

Yes, you can, depending on the availability of our instructor and the activity booked.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, we also sell gift vouchers. These can be redeemed for our activities.

Gift voucher conditions:

  • Gift vouchers can only be redeemed for our activities and cannot be used for an overnight stay.

Can I book a package, for example combining horseback riding and wellness?

At the moment, we do not offer fixed packages. However, we are happy to explore the possibilities with you. Feel free to contact our team to discuss your wishes.

Do you offer something special for birthdays or anniversaries?

Yes, certainly! When booking an overnight stay, you can add a celebration package or a romantic package. We will make sure your accommodation is decorated festively or romantically upon arrival, so your stay starts off extra special.

Groups & events

Can we stay overnight with a group?

Yes, that is possible. You can rent multiple accommodations with us, allowing you to stay overnight as a group. Through our website, you can book one accommodation per reservation. Would you like to make a group booking? You can reserve the accommodations separately or contact us so we can assist you.

We do not have one large accommodation where the entire group can stay together; the group will be spread across multiple accommodations. Please also note that parties and late gatherings are not allowed. Quiet hours apply on the property to ensure all guests can enjoy a relaxing stay.

Can we organize a team outing, workshop, or meeting at Magnolia Hoeve?

Yes, the Hay barn is perfectly suited for organizing team outings, workshops, and meetings. The space is ideal for combining a gathering with activities such as horseback riding lessons, yoga on and next to the horse, and/or an outdoor ride, creating an inspiring and unique experience.
In addition, our indoor arena and horse stables are also available for rent.

Is there a separate space for meetings or (yoga) workshops?

Cleaning & departure

Do I need to clean the accommodation before departure?

We take care of the final cleaning, so the accommodation is fresh and ready for the next guests. We kindly ask you to leave the accommodation tidy and normally used.

In practice, this means:

  • leaving the accommodation tidy
  • removing the bed linen and placing it together with the towels in one pile on the floor inside the accommodation
  • doing the dishes and returning all items neatly to the cupboards
  • disposing of your waste in the waste container at the exit of the property

If an accommodation is left excessively dirty, we may unfortunately need to charge additional cleaning costs. Of course, this will only be done when truly necessary.

What if something gets damaged during my stay?

No worries! Please let us know as soon as possible. Small accidents can happen, but we do ask that any damage or broken items are reported so we can resolve the situation.

After your departure, we will assess the damage and, if necessary, contact you to arrange everything properly.
We advise guests to take out appropriate (travel or liability) insurance to cover any unforeseen damage during their stay.

Are there house rules that I need to follow?

Yes. To ensure a pleasant and safe stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to respect our house rules. These can be found on our website under the house rules page.
Please keep in mind items such as quiet hours, no smoking inside the accommodations, and showing respect for our animals, staff, and surroundings.

Where should I leave my bed linen and towels?

Please place your bed linen (fitted sheet and duvet cover), towels, dishcloth, tea towel, and scouring sponge together in one place on the floor. We will take care of the rest!

Is there camera surveillance?

Yes, there is camera surveillance at strategic locations on the outdoor premises to ensure everyone’s safety. The footage is used solely for security purposes, and privacy is, of course, respected.

Is the property gated?

Yes, our property is gated to ensure the safety of our guests and animals. Only visitors and guests with an access code are allowed to enter the premises.
