Trudy van der Plas

Trudy van der Plas is a passionate western rider, trainer and reining specialist from Heeswijk-Dinther in the Netherlands. She has been involved in western riding from a young age and has established herself as a well-known name in the Dutch reining world. At her training facility, she works daily on educating, training and showing horses, with horsemanship, patience and a horse-friendly approach at the heart of everything she does.

Over the years, Trudy has gained extensive competition experience in reining, both nationally and internationally. Together with her Quarter Horses, she has achieved impressive results and qualified for competitions at a high level. In addition to training her own horses, she also coaches riders who want to further develop their skills in western riding. Her lessons are known for their clear explanations, personal attention and strong focus on building a solid foundation for both horse and rider.

With her knowledge, enthusiasm and years of experience, Trudy makes western riding accessible to everyone. Whether you are discovering western riding for the first time or already have experience and want to improve your skills, Trudy is happy to help you gain more confidence, control and enjoyment in the saddle.
