Riding a horse through nature, isn’t that wonderful? We think so too! That’s why we organize guided forest rides in the Staatsbossen of Sint Anthonis. Enjoy the variety of forest, heathland and fields on horseback!

Escape the crowds, breathe in the fresh air, and simply enjoy the moment.

Choose your trail ride

At Magnolia Hoeve, you can choose between two types of trail rides: shared trail rides and private trail rides. Both are guided by an experienced instructor and ridden on our gentle horses.

Private 1.5 and 2.5 hour trail rides

All attention is focused on you or your own group. This ride is exclusively for you and your party, without other participants. The pace can be adjusted in consultation with the instructor, depending on safety and riding experience.

Shared 1.5 and 2.5 hour trail rides

These rides allow individual riders to join and ride together with other participants. Perfect if you enjoy going out with a small group where other riders may join the ride.**

The shared 1.5 and 2.5 hour trail rides only take place with a sufficient number of participants.

Who can join our trail rides?

Our trail rides are suitable for riders aged 14+ with sufficient experience. You must be confident in walk, trot and canter and able to fully ride independently.

Not there yet? Take a look at our private lessons or group lessons to prepare for a future trail ride. Would you still like to enjoy nature already? Then choose our walking trail rides (stapritten), which are also suitable for beginners.

Duration and options

We currently offer forest rides with a duration of:

1.5 hours
2.5 hours

Both rides include tacking up, untacking and grooming.
The time shown in the booking system is the start time of the ride. Please make sure you are present at the stable by then.

Practical Information

Age: from 14 years
Group size: max. 4 riders (excluding instructor)
Required riding level: confident in walk, trot and canter; able to ride fully independently
Start time: as indicated in the booking system.

Safety & equipment

Required: approved riding helmet and body protector (available for rent)
Clothing: proper fitting riding clothes and riding boots with heels
Not allowed: loose clothing or jewelry
Weight limit: max. 95 kg (for horse welfare)

Change & cancellation policy

You can reschedule your ride up to 48h in advance via your account in our booking system (if you created an account). Alternatively, the ride can be moved to another day in consultation. No refunds are given. Within 48h, rescheduling is no longer possible and the full fee will be charged.
