House rules

To ensure that everyone can enjoy our farm and stay in the safest possible way, a number of rules apply. We kindly ask you to take note of these rules and to cooperate in complying with them.

These rules apply to every guest, user, and visitor of our farm, both private and business-related.

For the sake of readability, all persons are referred to as guests.

First of all, we wish you a pleasant stay. If anything is unclear or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

General

• Please respect one another, fellow guests, staff on the farm, their privacy, and other people’s property. Do not cause any nuisance.

• During the day and evening, no disturbance may be caused. After 22:00, any form of noise disturbance is not permitted. Between 23:00 and 07:00, quiet hours apply, and it must be silent throughout the entire farm.

• Instructions given by staff of our farm, as well as by external companies engaged by Magnolia Hoeve, must be followed at all times.

At the Stables

• Always enter the stables and riding arena under supervision. Do not enter the pasture or stables without supervision. Horses are herd animals and may react unpredictably without guidance. It is therefore not permitted to enter the pasture when horses are present.

• For certain training sessions, wearing a riding helmet is mandatory. Helmets can also be rented from us.

• Approach the horses calmly. Running or screaming is not permitted.

• Do not feed the horses. We ensure that our horses lack nothing and usually follow a customized feeding schedule per horse. Feeding outside this schedule may cause health issues, such as colic or laminitis, for example when feeding sugar cubes.

• Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.

In Case of Emergencies or Serious Malfunctions

• In case of an emergency, always contact the emergency services immediately.

• First call 112 for an ambulance, fire brigade, or police, and then contact our reception.

• Please note that Magnolia Hoeve is reachable by phone (not by email, messages, or social media) during working days. Outside working days, we are only reachable by phone for real emergencies via 0485 74 53 34 (press 6).
